Quick Guide to Organic Acid Interpretation

The Quick Guide to Organic Acid Interpretation is an easily accessed guide to assist in the interpretation of the chromatographs generated from extracted urine samples from individuals with some of the most commonly encountered inborn errors of metabolism (IEM).  The Guide is intended for use by laboratory and medical professionals who interpret testing for the diagnosis and monitoring of IEM.  It provides illustrative chromatographs from selected disorders.  Also included are pathway diagrams and representative compound scans of the most important diagnostic compounds one should find in chromatographs of these disorders.  Brief descriptions of the etiology and clinical presentation of each disorder are also provided.
