AACC Online Continuing Education Certificate Center

Thank you for attending the AACC Annual Meeting!

If you attended any of the scientific sessions approved for continuing education credit, you may go online and print your continuing education certificate by following the easy steps below.

Before you begin, be sure to have:

  • Your AACC Customer Number and password (to log in to the AACC website).
  • Your Continuing Education Recording Form (completed during the Annual Meeting).
  • Adobe ® Acrobat® Reader ® on your computer to view and download your certificate, which is stored in Portable Document Format (PDF) format. If you don’t have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® click here to get your free copy.

Steps to Obtain Your Continuing Education Certificate

1. Check the Online Demographic Form, and make any changes, if needed. Important note to Florida licensed laboratory professionals requesting ACCENT® credit: If you would like AACC to report your credits to CE Broker, enter your Florida Department of Health license number into the Demographic Form. You must obtain your credits within 90 days of the AACC Annual Meeting. Credits obtained after 90 days will have to be self-reported to CE Broker.
2. Indicate if you will be requesting Verification of Participation certificate for ACCENT ® or AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM . (Note: AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM is for physicians only). Then, click on "Proceed to Create Session List".
3. At "Create Session List" you will create the list of sessions you attended.
4. For each session, enter the continuing education (CE) code (displayed or announced at the end of the session) then click on "Add".
5. After entering the CE code for a session and clicking on "Add", check that the correct session is listed under "List of Sessions Attended".
6. If you attended more than one session, repeat steps #4 and #5.
7. Once you have finished creating the list of all of the sessions for which you are requesting credit, click on “Finalize Session List”.
8. At "Finalize List of Sessions", compare the list of sessions to your Continuing Education Recording Form. The following changes can be made at this screen:
     - change the amount of credits being claimed for a session. The amount of credits claimed should be the amount of time you actually spent in the activity.
     - add more sessions
     - remove a session
9. If the list of sessions is correct, click on “Proceed to Certificate”. Important Note: Before clicking on "Proceed to Certificate", be sure your list of sessions is correct because once you proceed to the next screen, you will not be able to go back and make any changes.
10. The final screen will display your Verification of Participation certificate in PDF format. As noted earlier, once you get to this screen, you will not be able to go back and make any changes. If you need to create another certificate, you must start again at the Online Demographic Form.
11. To save your Verification of Participation certificate as an electronic file and/or print it, you may do any of the following:

* To save the certificate as an electronic file on your computer, select "File, then "Save As", and save to your computer.

* To send the certificate (as a PDF) to your email address, select "File, then "Mail Link to this Page" (or "Page by E-mail"), and you will be brought into your email system.

* To print the certificate, click on the Print icon in your browser, or select "File", then "Print".
Please note: The maximum number of credits that may be claimed for attending the scientific sessions is 30.0 credits.
